Job description / Role
Objectives: To have technical knowledge and troubleshooting of heavy machinery specially Forklifts (preferably on Hyster forklifts).
Reporting to: Workshop Supervisor
Main responsibilities:
• Must be able to repair faults correctly and in the shortest possible time on a variety of heavy equipment having more specialization on forklifts.
• Carry out all diagnosis/repairs to the highest of standards.
• Ensure that a full functional test is carried out after repairs are completed.
• Must ensure that all work is carried out in a safe manner.
• Must ensure completion of jobs within allocated time.
• Capable to identify the parts required in the manuals and pass this information to the person responsible to place the order.
