A high-net worth family here in Dubai are seeking to recruit a qualified teacher to work full time and support 4 children, up to the age of 13 years old in all their academic efforts. Therefore, we are specifically seeking those with strong secondary school teaching experience within the UAE, from an educational institution rated from good to outstanding by the KHDA.
This is a role that requires excellent communication and organisational skills to fully support the children in all areas of education (including on line and home schooling) and homework. The Head of Academic Excellence will also act as the liaison between the schools the children attend and will communicate frequently with all the teachers to ensure a coherent and beneficial approach for the family. Full extracurricular support is also required after school as well as throughout the school holidays, so within the regular five-day school week, some degree of flexibility is required. Emphasis is very much on the core subjects of Maths and Science, but there should also be full support of the whole academic secondary curriculum with a creative and engaging tutor to incentivize and encourage the four children to achieve their best results. Your hard work will be rewarded with a contractual bonus at the end of the two years and a contract renewal is also a possibility.
