Job Description:
As a Data Analyst, you will work in a multi-functionally environment with attention to customer insights and research, including both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. This role involves data analysis, profiling, coming up with business insights, and data driven strategy recommendations. You will generate insights through data mining and analysis for various projects. You will craft meaningful insights that ultimately will improve customer experience, as well as our client’s business operations and financial results.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating a vision with multiple inputs for an inclusive data solution creating a void for data silos.
- Assuring the integrity of project data, including data extraction, storage, manipulation, processing and analysis.
- Preparing and delivering presentations to describe trends, convey findings or make recommendations.
- Gathering business intelligence requirements from external clients and internal staff.
- Using data analytics tools to build new dashboards, reports, and any additional ad-hoc requests.
- Holding meetings internally and externally to understand reporting needs and lead the team with reporting solutions.
- Participating in ongoing decisions concerning data collections, study design, reporting methodology, and data analysis.
- Extracting, cleansing, and manipulating data from multiple operational systems and data repositories.
- Analyzing data with standard statistical methods, interpreting the results, preparing and delivering presentations to describe trends, convey findings or make recommendations.
- Analyzing data with standard statistical methods, interpreting the results, and providing oral or written summaries of analysis.
- Collecting and collating appropriate data for use in reporting and related research.
- Setting standards for reporting across multiple product sets and FI needs and automation.
- Developing reports, visualizations, or statistical analysis as required.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in data management, governance, business analytics or AI.
- Exposure to journey mapping and campaign/marketing automation services.
- Experience statistical analysis and modeling with BI tools (i.e., Tableau, Business Objects, QlikView, Cognos, MicroStrategy).
- Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling in R, Python, SAS, SPSS, or others.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Degree in Computer Science or a quantitative discipline (i.e., Economics, Finance, Mathematics, and Statistics) or related discipline preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of one or more visualization and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Smartsheet.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word).
- Strong communications skills, verbal and written.
- Proficient with Structured Query Language (SQL) and data profiling.
- Exposure to CRM, loyalty, customer insights, and database marketing.
- 2-5 years of experience in leading data analytics projects working with large data sets and/or complex excel models.
