They are currently seeking to expand their workforce and hire a Financial Controller based in Dubai.

Description
Managing Company Formation & Compliance ManagementDealing with letter of credits and with credit insurance companiesReviewing financial statements to determine whether they meet accounting standards, such as GAAP or IFRSReviewing financial records and reports to detect any irregularities or issues that may need further investigationComplying with government regulations regarding financial activities such as taxation, securities trading, banking, and insuranceCoordinating with banks and credit insurance companies for the letter of credit or any additional banking requirementsRecommending changes to policies or procedures to comply with new laws or regulationsAssisting with internal audits by identifying risk factors and recommending solutionsProviding general administrative support to the accounting department, such as maintaining files, organizing meetings, and handling administrative tasksPreparing reports about financial status and trends for senior managementManage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.Financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as development of internal control policies and procedures

Profile
Around 5 years of experience finance and accountingIndustry background in trading, export and import would be preferredStrong understanding and knowledge of compliance management is necessaryQuality understanding of IFRSManagement experience is preferredGood communications skills, along with the ability to work well with a team
