As Field Service Engineer you will be responsible to deliver technical support on the assigned BD Technical Support related instruments and systems to the customer and distributors within the assigned region in order to guarantee customer satisfaction through an outstanding service and efficient mastery of reported incidents and requests of the customer.You will be responsible to cover Egypt & other countries in LENA region
Other Key Responsibilities: –

Independently performing local technical support on the assigned BD technical support related instruments and systems as agreed in the customer service level agreements, such as installations, deinstallations, relocations, certifications (IQ & OQ) and repairs

Checking performance and reporting & documenting completion and performance of service intervention

Effectively raising the problem to the Technical Instrument Specialist in case an immediate solution cannot be offered in order to deliver a qualitative service in accordance to the BD specifications and customer Service Level Agreements.

For technical problems reported by the customer on BD Technical support related instruments and systems that are not supported by the help desk: Investigate, diagnose, troubleshoot, and support the customer remotely also provide Distributors with 2nd Level of Technical support and when required provide onsite support to pre-sales, implementations and resolve issues raised by Distributors.

Preparation of technical support plans for new products lunches in coordination with both BDB & BDDS sales teams and distributors, which includes (Installation forecast and field support, stock management, distributer trainings, escalations management)

Prioritizing, planning, and executing field corrective actions, upgrades, and actions for preventive maintenance on the assigned BD technical support related instruments and systems. This according to the regulatory instructions and mandatory procedures within the predefined timeframe to ensure business continuity for the customer.

Explain the content of a service contract to the customer, its terms of condition, the benefits and pricing in order to raise the customers’ awareness on the content of the technical support

Inform local Administration on the status of the contract of the customer in order to guarantee good contract service to the customer.
About You: –

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English and Arabic

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Bio-Medical Etc.)

Relevant field Experience in the field 7-10 years in a similar function preferably in Medical Device company.

Experience with distributor management and coordination
-
Able to work independently and prepared for travel within the region.

Expert level skills in MS Office (specifically; Excel and PowerPoint)
