External Sales Engineer

Endress+Hauser (Arabia) LLC

Main responsibilities:

  • Achievement of sales area target across the Endress+Hauser portfolio of products, solutions and services.

  • Implementation of Saudi Sales Strategy as defined by Regional Middle East.

  • Management of customer database defining key targets and objectives through the E+H customer classification system. Eg. Assess actual vs available spend with Key Account, Top & Regular classification customers.

  • To seek additional business opportunities for sustainable growth, especially standard Solutions / Instrument Project, and Added Value Service business opportunities across customer base.

  • To ensure that all outstanding potential is followed up and updated using Salesforce CRM System to enable accurate sales forecasting.

  • To interface business activity between field and internal sales (but also with Supply Chain Controlling team) to ensure effective communication always so maximizing all business opportunities.

  • Prequalification of commercial requirements – apply the company credit management procedures at all stages of the sales process.

  • To report on any competitive activity that could jeopardize Endress+Hauser’s market position.

  • Commit fully to the company PDR Process and QA Procedures


  • 5-year experience in external sales

  • Knowledge of O&G, Chemicals and Petrochemicals market supported by good connections to main customers

  • General knowledge of instrumentation products and process industries

  • Instrumentation Eng.

  • Knowledge of Control & Automation, both practical and market orientated

  • Sales Experience

  • Marketing Experience preferable


Engineering qualification, minimum HNC/HND in Instrumentations/Control Systems/Electrical/Electronic engineering.
