Your day to day

Right now, we’re looking for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join the Engineering team. As the Engineering Supervisor, you will support the Chief Engineer to organize, motivate, and engage colleagues of the Engineering department. Supervise general contractor and subcontractors directly, to ensure quality work is performed cost effectively. Recommend or arrange for additional services such as painting, repair work, renovations, and the replacement of furnishings and equipment, as required. Direct, plan and oversee purchase of spare parts, supplies etc needed for smooth operation. Prepare preventive maintenance schedule & distributes the work to colleagues according to their specializations and competence to get the best results Ensure that the work done by the team are according to the specified standard Help deliver On-the-job training for colleagues and create opportunities for them to multitask Ensure departmental disciplinary procedures are observed and poor performance is addressed in a timely manner. Help deliver exemplary levels of guest service and provide creative solutions to our guests. Emphasize guest satisfaction during all departmental meetings and focus on continuous improvement. Implement energy conservation activities/initiatives for the property, and assign roles for the colleagues to match their responsibilities in the initiative Implement the Fire Life Safety (FLS) program activities of the department, as tasked.

What we need from you

Minimum 3-5 years experience in hotel Engineering team in Supervisory role. Previous background of repair & maintenance- hands on experience with machines and equipment used in large buildings or residential complex is highly desirable. Good knowledge of electronics is an advantage Minimum education level of vocational or trade certificate in electrical Technology or equivalent. Knowledge of electrical codes, standards of machine operations, and Engineering diagrams is a must. Good command of English language, both oral and written
