Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to provide safe and effective maintenance cleaning and landscaping services for Serco Dubai Metro.
Job Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning on building and structure exterior of Dubai Metro such as stations, ancillary buildings and depots as assigned and undertake the cleaning of special areas and at heights where required.
- Carry out Level 1 & 2 maintenance activities on the cleaning equipment such as the mobile boom, abseiling and high pressure cleaning machine
- Respond to incidents on the building and structure that require specific cleaning expertise in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate maintenance records of cleaning the building, structure, cleaning equipment and other information using a computerised maintenance management system
- Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment’s are in good condition
- Perform line side activities, Pest Control and Platform Screen Door cleaning
- Assist the Civil Team Leader (Maintenance Cleaning & Grounds) in carrying out all aspects of landscaping activities, such as tree pruning, lawn care, hedge trimming, application of fertilizer and agriculture goods, earth grading and drainage and sprinkler system maintenance in addition to managing landscape waste
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Vocational trade certificate or diploma in civil, electrical or mechanical engineering discipline or equivalent
- Able to write simple technical reports, prepare method statements and drawings as required
- Ability to work unsupervised
- A mature, methodical and responsible approach to work
- Understand and with experience in adhering to structured work instructions
- Experience in operations and maintenance of mobile boom, abseiling and high pressure cleaning machine is desirable
