As a result, we are currently seeking a Design Transformation Lead for the Built Environment to join our team. This position is within our Middle East, UAE Design and Engineering (D&E) business and will cover all aspects of buildings design and construction supervision design support. The successful candidate will and work closely with our design transformation team and other functions within Atkins business.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Individual to assist in the step change transformation of our design offerings that will develop solutions that allow our teams to maximise the potential of existing software in delivering our designs and investigate the use of items such as design automation and Artificial Intelligence to deliver our projects.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate would be expected to be part of a design transformation team seeking short, medium and long term measurable goals in transforming our design offerings with the use of automation at its core.

Develop short, medium and long term design transformation measurable projects and goals for the UAE Busines. The design transformation changes should not impact the delivering to the highest quality standards

Upskill resources on the outcomes of the projects

Engage with and liaise with other teams within the business on technical aspects of these projects

Keep up-to-date with current methods and the latest research in infrastructure and land development
Requirements:

10+ years post-graduate experience.

Degree in a field of Architecture or Engineering related to building design or equivalent professional qualification.

Proven track record in the delivery of buildings projects to a high standard within the Region
-
Possess a great degree of knowledge and experience in the use of design softwares used within the design of Building projects

Ability to transfer this knowledge to colleagues within the business

Excellent report writing and presentational skills

Confident and professional manner and communication style, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders

Proficient IT skills (Microsoft Office and specialist software)
