Job Description:
Lead, develop and oversee the execution of social media, public relations and events at Politix!
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop and execute Politix’s PR strategy across Australia and New Zealand, supporting brand activity, campaigns and charity partnerships ensuring all activity meets performance expectations
- Drive engagement with Politix customers and gain positive earned media reach through these key channels
- Financial ownership and accountability of all social and PR cost centres
- Own the PR events across Australia and New Zealand including; briefing, concepts, supplier management, guest list, run sheet and general event management
- Lead a small team and drive a positive team culture
- Provide on-going strategic recommendations for social media including; role of channels, vision, tone of voice and execution plans
- Evolve the social strategy as needed by drawing on key metrics and analytics
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Exposure and knowledge of the latest industry trends and developments within this ever evolving space
- An excellent collaborator who builds effective working relationships across the business
- Experience in driving a social and PR strategy for a business to drive engagement and commercial return
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing or equivalent
- A team player who leads and coaches a team to success
- Previous social media, events and PR experience for a consumer business or brand
