Data Analyst

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop business intelligence reporting including historical data trend analysis and visualizations that identify business improvement opportunities
• Partner with business areas to define critical reporting needs and provide guidance regarding the availability of data and set expectations around delivery of results
• Work with IT stakeholders in establishing access to data sources, obtaining definitions of data sets and ensuring the reliability and accuracy of information
• Assists with implementation of relevant data into database and resolves any data quality issues by working with team members and stakeholders to identify root causes of and solve data concerns.
• Design and execute data extract/transform/load (ETL) scripts and environment migrations
• Create and maintain best-data-modeling-practices-based Analysis Services to meet analytics requirements
• Create Ad-hoc analyses that span multiple databases of potentially mixed levels of normalization and “cleanliness”
• Provide support for development and infrastructure issues surrounding the availability of reporting platforms
• Prioritize the development, maintenance and support of multiple projects simultaneously
• Assist with special projects, data maintenance, and other day-to-day tasks in support of the overall Business Intelligence platform
• Analyze data and present results to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Effectively manage workload by prioritizing ad-hoc requests, development efforts and analysis

Requirements

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience in SSIS, SSAS and SSRS
• Experienced in creating Power BI Dashboards
• Expertise in MS SQL Server (2000, 2005, 2008, 2010,2012,2016), dimension models / star schema
• Excellent in SQL programming (Stored procedures, functions & triggers), writing and optimizing SQL Queries
• Experience working with Data Warehousing, Reports and Dashboards
• Good data analytical skills and creation of Data Dashboards
• Knowledge of Dimensional and relational modelling techniques
• Creating and extracting reports for users and clients using SSIS & SSRS
• Data analysis for precise and efficient data extraction
• Preferred knowledge in Healthcare data and process (DHA & HAAD)
• Knowledge of Python and R is a plus
• Good Communication skills.
