As a Security Services Manager you will be responsible for managing and developing the Security Services employees and contractor labour to deliver an engaging customer experience. You will also be accountable for the delivery of all facets of the Security Services and emergency management functions across the complex including Hotels, Gaming, VIP Gaming, Food and Beverage and Events.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing a high level of service to internal & external customers
- Maintaining a positive employee culture
- Providing strong, consistent leadership, direction and support
- Being a highly visible point of contact across the complex for security related matters
- Contributing to broader business unit strategies
- Managing resources to ensure budget objectives are achieved
- Conducting shift briefings/musters
- Managing emergencies, risk and any critical incidents
- Adhering to and enforcing the business’s policies and procedures
Job Requirements:
- Experience in report writing with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent negotiation and people management skills
- Experience in responding to emergencies or critical incidents
- Availability to work 12 hour shifts across a 24/7 rotating roster
- Optimistic leader with the ability to envision better results and you are able to inspire and motivate people to work toward achieving that shared vision of success
- Demonstrated experience in managing and assessing risk
- The ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic & changing environment
- Effective time management skills, high attention to detail, and critical thinking ability
- Holder of Casino Special Licence Category A or ability to obtain one
- Background in casinos, crowd control, events and/ or hospitality will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership position with coaching and change management skills – a constructive leader
- Day to day operational management
- A current Victorian Crowd Control Licence – Certificate II or III in Security Operations or the ability to obtain one
