Job description / Role
Objectives: To have good knowledge with visas, arranging hotel, transportation for the Crew and handling ships spares clearance.
Reporting to: Senior Supervisor
Main responsibilities:
1.Responsible supporting Senior Supervisor for effectively and efficiently managing all visa, accommodation and transport related requirements for personnel / crew arriving or departing in Dubai airport.
2.Close coordination with Senior Supervisors (Crew Team) to ensure that all principal / vessel requirements related to visa, accommodation and transport are met according to customer instructions and Kanoo Shipping Operational Procedures
3.Responsible for ensuring effective implementation / compliance of Management Requirements as per Kanoo Shipping Operational / Quality / HSSE Procedures and Policies
4.Monitor suppliers to ensure Kanoo Shipping Operational / Quality / HSSE / Accounting requirements are strictly complied at all times
5.Responsible for preparing / maintaining accurate / updated Daily Crew Movement List and Vessel Check List
6.Responsible for coordinating with suppliers to ensure required services are booked and provided as and when required
7.Responsible for monitoring suppliers to ensure kanoo Shipping Operational / Quality / HSSE / Accounting requirements are strictly complied at all times
8.Ensure complaints, procedure and safety related issues are reported to Senior Supervisor.
9.Responsible for opening and updating Agency Now call file for crew / personnel related information on a timely basis as per procedure
10.Carry out supplier performance re-evaluation
11.Responsible for improvement of performance in carrying out responsibilities to achieve customer requirements
12.Prepares documents required for relevant visa applications of all types
13.Responsible for providing timely and accurate PO numbers to suppliers
14.Timely and accurate encoding of PO Numbers and Principal Names as required in Crew Care invoices
