Job Description:

The Capital Markets Regulatory Engagement Officer will be part of Citi’s Global Regulatory Engagement team in the Chief Administrative Office and report directly to the Capital Markets Regulatory Engagement and Policy Advocacy Lead.

Job Requirements:

• Support the supervisory strategy activity for Capital Markets Regulators across Businesses/Functions in accordance with direction from the CAO Global Regulatory Engagement Team
• Identify Capital Markets Regulators regulatory / examination developments and analyze implications
• Coordinate with Global Regulatory Engagement Team and Business/Function Regulatory Liaisons and Coordinators on regulatory / examination priorities
• Support the CAO oversight of strategy and responses to regulatory examinations, reviews and inquiries

Qualification & Experience:

• Specific subject matter expertise regarding regulatory disciplines and a strong business understanding of the products and services Citi offers
• Experience in managing regulatory exams and relationships with examiners, auditors, etc. at a large complex financial institution
• Strong written, verbal and analytical skills; has the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging
• Must be a self-starter, flexible, innovative and adaptive
• Highly motivated, strong attention to detail, team oriented, organized
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional and global partners in the business and other functional units; ability to navigate a complex organization; to engage with stakeholders at all levels
