Job Description:

Drive development and implementation of common standards, procedures and governance processes to create and maintain consistent and best in class regulatory interactions and communications protocols.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Risk, IA and Legal, as well as other Citi sectors (where appropriate for firm wide examinations) to ensure consistency and compliance with the regulatory interactions oversight policies and procedures.
  • Design and drive development dashboards and reports for senior management and providing regular status updates on progress.
  • Define agenda and own the development strawman presentation materials to be leveraged by ICRM participants in regulatory meetings, in order to ensure consistency of messaging.
  • Create process to ensure all final materials being used are reviewed prior to sending to the regulators.
  • Partner with the ICRM Regulatory Engagement team and particularly the ICRM Global Head of Regulatory Engagement in the development of materials, presentations and updates.
  • Drive the ICRM Supervisory Affairs team in developing and executing strategic and best practice initiatives in regulatory interactions.
  • Direct support to ICRM Global Head of Regulatory Engagement Head in drafting Response Letters.
  • Identify opportunities and lead implementations of software solutions to track and manage global regulatory interactions as well as key performance and risk/control metrics of issues to avoid redundancy or inaccuracies in data capture or reporting.
  • Oversight on regular monitoring routines across the ICRM organization globally to ensure consistency and compliance with the regulatory interactions oversight policies and procedures.
  • Partner with Risk, IA and Legal, as well as other Citi sectors (where appropriate for firm wide examinations) to ensure consistency and compliance with the regulatory interactions oversight policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • Preferred: Advanced degree (e.g. JD, MBA) a plus
  • Required: Bachelor’s degree; experience in compliance, legal or other control-related function in the financial services firm, regulatory organization, or legal/consulting firm, or a combination thereof; extensive experience in area of focus; previous experience managing a diverse staff.
