Chief Engineer for a Luxury Five Star Hotel in Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
– Supervise and direct the activities of the Resident Engineer/Maintenance Managers
– Monitor engineering activities to ensure adherence to establishes policies, operating procedures and standards
– Prepare comprehensive budgets and forecast to ensure the efficient and cost effective operation of the department
– Supervise, develop and maintain an ongoing maintenance operation for hotel, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventive maintenance, hotel rooms and etc.
– Submit a comprehensive monthly report to the General Manager
– On an ongoing and regular basis, inspects and evaluates physical condition of entire hotel asset, including all guestrooms, public areas, pool area; completes and retains inspection reports
– Ensure to deliver the highest quality products and service to meet high volumes and individual client requirements
– Ensure optimum use of facilities
– Promote the values, hallmarks and guiding principles of the company
– Partake in occupational health and safety initiatives and forms as a part of the SBU’s occupational health and safety committee
– Ensure adherence to the external communication guidelines and the company ethics.
