Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of TR Health and Welfare Benefits Analyst located in Houston, TX .

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand plan eligibility, defined event logic and rules, data flow
  • Fiduciary responsible for governing Plan text changes and corresponding processes for ongoing administration
  • Manage and/ or interact with external partners as assigned: contract, performance guarantees, service, changes as needed.
  • Develop communications for assigned plans for education for both employees and HR Community
  • Manage implementation of changes with other internal partners such as HR Communications, Legal, Finance-BPI, Payroll, IT, employee-labor relations, Disability ManagementHR Shared Services, etc.
  • Keeps abreast of regulatory changes.
  • Provides policy-plan counsel and responds to escalations from management, HRBPs, eligible employees, inactive plan participants, and external partners (e.g. Absence Management partner

  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to diplomatically manage difficult situations & confidential escalations.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Minimum five (5) years of Total Rewards / US Benefits and/or US leave policy administration.
  • Demonstrated professional experience to analyze data & issues
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to diplomatically manage difficult situations & confidential escalations.
  • Bachelors Degree in related field (HR, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial) or Professional Certification (i.e. CEBs)
