Job description / Role
About the Client:
The hiring company is a leading facilities management company established in 1984. They are known for maintaining a significant number of properties and provides a wide array of services to prominent local and international companies in the United Arab Emirates.
Job Role:
Maintain municipal buildings, residences and building items such as furniture and stairs, making repairs to the internal and external structure
Study blueprints, sketches, or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, and dimensions of
structure or fixture to be fabricated and executes the project plan
Select specified type of lumber or other materials needed for the project, and co-ordinates supplies for the current project
Prepare project layouts, shapes job materials to prescribed measurements, assembling cut and shaped materials and fastening them
Keep the Supervisor informed about the job development, verifying trueness of structure with plumb bob and carpenter’s level
Inspect municipal buildings and facilities for needed services and repairs
Perform minor electrical repairs and maintain building interiors and exteriors
Operate and maintain carpentry tools and equipment, keep a daily log of tasks and prepare a preventative maintenance schedule
