Job Description:
Global Banking & Markets Technology (GBMT) Risk & Controls group is responsible for the implementation of Enterprise operational risk management policies, procedures and standards across GBMT. These risk management policies, procedures and standards are formulated by Enterprise Risk, Global Information Security, and Compliance & Regulatory Agencies. The GBMT Risk & Controls team works with Application Managers and COOs across all technology teams in Global Banking, Markets, Risk and Finance to ensure that programs execute effectively and control gaps are identified and addressed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing routines with key stakeholders to communicate status and solicit feedback
- Managing application governance routines across GBAMT/ERFT organization, ensuring appropriate communication, engagement, and escalation with leadership and stakeholders
- Consulting with peers and leadership to evaluate current methodologies and develop strategies to implement changes and improvements
- Accountability for engaging the appropriate partners and SMEs to drive the adherence and to deliver against expected control function outcomes and time lines
- Interaction with all levels of the GT&O organization including application teams, control functions, and technology partners as well as Front Line Units
- Serving as the subject matter expert and lead for one or more of the application control function areas

Qualification & Experience:
- 5+ years relevant work experience in governance, risk, audit, or controls
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years relevant work experience leading complex software/application/infrastructure development
