Job Responsibilities:
- Actively participate in D.A.I. forums and community
- Evangelise the use of the Tableau ecosystem and coach cross-functional teams in Self-Serve Analytics
- Lead the design and delivery of a Tableau based Data Visualisation and Self-Service Analytics capability that enables the BIG W business to further unlock the rich value of our data and deliver exceptional experiences for our customers and team
- Support the cultural and capability shift of the organisation towards Data, Analytics and Insights
- Own accurate and timely executive and functional KPI measurement and insight
- Define and own Data Visualisation and Self-Service Analytics standards, across of technical and user experience components
- Partner with our cross-functional teams to identify business needs and existing reporting, and lead the delivery of Tableau based solutions
- Identify and onboard new data sets into Tableau Server, leveraging our GCP data warehouse
- Act as the Big W Tableau Administrator, in partnership with Woolworths Group Technology
- Take a leading role in providing training to the Data, Analytics and Insights team and wider community in Data VIsualisation and Self-Service Analytics
- Work as a valued team member within the central BIG W Data, Analytics and Insights team, working collaboratively and partnering with business stakeholders and Group Data and Analytics teams
- Promote the use of Data, Analytics and Insights as means to answer the most important, well defined problems and curious questions to address customer, team and/or business challenges
- Establish the standards and best practices in Data Visualisation and Self-Service Analytics
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Deep understanding and passion for data, analytics and insights and how it can unlock real customer, team and business challenges
- Experienced Data Visualisation professional, with a track record of growing a Tableau capability and community in a large organisation
