Job description / Role
• To operate, maintain and repair all aspects of the hotel A/V systems and equipment in accordance with approved standards to achieve optimum operating efficiency of equipment at all times
• Sets up equipment according to the instruction based on the Banquet Events Order (BEO) or client
• Tests equipment before the event and operating the equipment during rehearsal, testing, and during the event
• Deals with all aspects of Audio Visual System set up checking, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all equipment as needed
• Manages equipment booking and tracking system
• Train other banquet staff members on how to use & operate equipment
• Checks the venue’s AV equipment and recommending or organizing upgrades when necessary
• Assists the guests during the events
• Performs other duties assigned by management
