Job description / Role
Transguard is currently looking to recruit an AV engineer-Facilities Management Hard Services. The AV Engineer will be responsible for audio visual installation, programming, operation, maintenance and decommissioning of all AV equipment and systems.
In this role, your responsibilities include the following:
• Ensuring the provision of AV equipment to all required areas
• Providing first-line maintenance, reporting of faults and liaising with external maintenance contractors.
• Maintaining equipment to a high standard of functionality, observing safety regulations, precautions and reporting any irregularities.
• Overseeing and assisting with the routine replacement and update of equipment.
• Maintaining appropriate records of bookings and ensuring that equipment is supplied on time.
• Ensuring the security of rooms and equipment and in cooperation with ICT security where necessary.
• Observing and administering codes of practice in the use of ICT computer and network facilities.
