Job Purpose

Preparation and monitoring of the Basel III Standardized Approach Ratio and BASEL II PILLAR III disclosures

Strategic assistance to senior management from capital perspective in key strategic objectives and initiatives

Implementation of the new BRF Guidelines

Main Tasks:

Delivery of the Basel III Ratio within the agreed timelines for market disclosures and submission to Central Bank in the specified formats. Preparation of the working files for Basel III Standardized approach.

Facilitate avenues to optimize Risk weighted assets. Constant review and explore various avenues of RWA optimization to ensure capital position of the Group remain healthy at all point of time.

Integral part of Pillar II project team for ICAAP and Stress testing by providing capital demand and capital supply information to the relevant concern team.

For various CBUAE regulations, surveys, assessments, consultative papers, examinations, reporting etc., need to be focal point of contact for all these and execute the same.

Delivery of the Annual Pillar III Disclosures for the Group by collating information from various departments/ subsidiaries.

Lead the Annual Central Bank Examination by arranging for data in the CB desired formats by collating and co-ordination of information from various departments. Support resolution of queries raised by the Examiners. Provide the standard monthly details in the agreed upon format within the desired timelines.

Impact analysis of the new circulars issued by Central Bank. Assist in collating information from various departments as per the specific requests of Central Bank and other regulators in the specified formats.

Review and analyze the weekly, fortnightly and monthly returns and ensure submission in the specified timelines.

Provide Regulatory reporting dashboard to key stakeholders and highlighting key regulatory ratio as early alert to senior management for key regulatory ratios and requirements.

Lead the implementation and automation of reports for the new BRF reporting Guidelines issued by Central Bank. Co-ordinate with various stakeholders to ensure availability of the data in the systems.

Provide data to the Internal stakeholders as per timelines like EMTN updates, data for Investor relations etc.

Assist Group Financial Controller in Capital Advisory and other related projects as applicable. Also preparation of Regulatory reporting dashboard and update all key stakeholders with regulatory update and status.


Qualified Accountant

Experiences, Knowledge & Skills:

A big 4 working experience, reporting Knowledge and Prior regulatory reporting experience of at least 10 to 15 years.

Should have strong knowledge of CBUAE local regulations, Basel regulations, and reasonable knowledge of other jurisdiction of regulatory requirement mainly from Basel perspective Should have reasonable knowledge of core banking systems and General ledger systems Should have reasonable knowledge of financial accounting/ reporting Strong MS Office skills, acumen for numbers and attention to detail Manage a team of individual.
