Analyst – Business Solutions | AL Futtaim Finance PV JSC | Information Technology

Overview of the role:


To proactively support the delivery, development and support of all Business Solution deliverables. “Business solutions” is a department that has been primarily setup to deliver the organization’s data and MIS requirements. 


What you will do:


  • Data Process Development – Continually develop and enhance the process to collect and transform data in order that it can be used in reporting tools such as SSRS/Qlik reports.


Report Development :


  1. Develop the Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports using in reporting tools such as SSRS/Qlik.
  2. Develop the ad hoc reports using in reporting tools such as SSRS/Qlik.


Batch Process Management :


  1. Continually develop and enhance the batch process.
  2. Manage and maintain the existing batch processing.


  •  Fully understand the 3 other core processes (ETL, Audit/History, and Maintenance) that are required to run the data warehouse. 
  •  Hands-on work experience using analytical tools like Tableau
  •  New Business Solution Delivery – Support the business solution leader

Required Skills to be successful:    Exposure in BI Tools/Products  Knowledge of key MIS principles (Single version of truth, R&R, etc.)  Develops MIS documentation, SOPs/ Operating Instructions to allow for smooth operations and easy system maintenance  Experience in requirement gathering  Desirables:  Qlik experience  SQL Coding (queries, Stored procedures, functions, views etc.,)  Deliver user training   Working experience in SSRS    Experience in Application development using .Net is added advantage  What equips you for the role: Bachelors’ degree or equivalent combination of education and training3-5 years’ relevant experience in IT environment
