Job description / Role
Accountant up to 6k AED for a High End Restaurant in Dubai
– Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department such as month and year end process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliation and trust account statement reconciliations
– Performs accounting for all the kitchens, reconciles sales, inventories, and commissions of ERP with accounting software
– Maintains the accounts payable vendor system and enters new vendors into the system
– Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports/ statements
– Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts, such as inventories, pre-paid deposits, sub-tenant receivables; reconciles subsystem with General Ledger
– Manage all purchasing and liaising with operation manager
– Manage cash balances and cash forecasts to meet the company’s needs
– Monthly Reports, Financial statements, Cash Flow projections, special analysis, and information reports, for management
– Ensure Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place
– Ensure that the record-keeping meets IFRS regulations and FTA guidelines
– Timely delivery of ad hoc analysis to meet stakeholder requests. Essential characteristics
– A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
– Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
– Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
