Summary of Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a senior level “Account Executive” in Saudi Arabia to sell the full suite of Cognizant’s services and solutions (including Custom Application Development & Maintenance, Engineering & Testing Services, Infrastructure Solutions, Business Consulting Services, Business Process Services, and Information Technology Services). The Account Executive is focused on scaling acquisition accounts within Petrochemical and Oil & Gas industry before transitioning these to a larger Client Leadership team. Focus is on hunting opportunities within acquisition accounts, operating as the account lead where no Client Partner is assigned.

Role Responsibilities

  • Work closely with leadership to define and execute sales strategies
  • Maintain and build consistent sales pipeline, and deliver sales results
  • Bid management and responding to RFP’s
  • Manage multiple sales cycles simultaneously
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and report/provide status updates to the business
  • Build and manage relationships with key decision makers
  • The candidate will be a blend of an articulate visionary who has experience and enjoys working with technology. 
  • In this role, the candidate will be seen as a trusted advisor to the customer and be an influencer within Cognizant.

Experience & SkillsAt least 10 years of experience in a Sales/Business Development role and experience in IT services salesProven track record in strategic solution sellingFamiliar with cloud services sales with good knowledge of the hyperscalersProven ability to manage highly complex, sometimes political and lengthy sales cyclesExperience in new account wins and also in account management where you are able to sell through existing channelsPrevious experience negotiating and handling sizeable complex dealsStrong presentation skillsStrong written and verbal communications skillsMust have excellent relationships with CxO in leading organizations in KSAExtensive understanding in the overall Software development life cycle (SDLC) and IT Enabled services & solutions to be able to promote Cognizant’s servicesKey areas of skill include:Must have worked in a consulting organization advising blue chip clientsExperience working with clients at senior positionsExperience with building solutions that address business needsExperience delivering innovative solutions to complex problemsA big picture thinker with the ability to articulate complex solutions in a simple way
