Job Description:
AbbVie is looking for an experienced Corporate Travel & Expense (CTE) Expense Report Analyst to help support our growing business needs and global disbursement operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the U.S. duplicate payment collection process
- Review, approve and track CTE SNOW ticket requests
- Prepare and analyze the annual Senior Leader report for the VP Corporate Controller and Board of Directors Audit Committee
- Serve as the key contact and subject matter expert relating to all Relocation and Senior Leader CTE related activities, as well as general CTE user inquiries
- Propose and implement initiatives aimed to improve efficiencies, innovation, and quality of processes and controls
- Manage and respond to user inquiries via the CTE Expense Services mailbox
- Build strong working relationships with the Affiliates, internal stakeholders and our BPO partners
- Assist users through the CTE Relocation process (as applicable)
- Maintain current records of process documentations
- Receive process check deposits on behalf of CTE
- Act as the Local Key User (LKU) for US
- Manage the delegation of Corporate card transactions for terminated employees
- Review and approval of Senior Leader expense reports according to Abbvie policies
- Conduct live training sessions with users (as needed)
- Schedule and lead bi-weekly meetings with the Business Processor Outsource (BPO) team
- Assist in audit preparation and other ad hoc initiatives/projects
- Update and/or create expense report training material
Job Requirements:
Qualification & Experience:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills enabling effective, clear, and concise communication with all levels of management
- Bachelor’s degree (in Finance or Accounting preferred)
- Minimum 8 3-4 years of experience in Expense Reporting and/or Accounts Payable
- Ability to productively work well both independently on task execution and as part of cohesive team /workgroup.
- Strong organizational skills required to coordinate, manage, and prioritize multiple cross-divisional processes and projects
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Consistently demonstrate the ability to be self-motivated, responsive, customer-focused, and possess strong follow-up skills
- Consistently demonstrate high ethical standards, accountability, and ownership.
